2.) I will never walk for the cure again
3.) I have donated to Planned Parenthood and will continue to do so
4.) I threw out all my pink crap
5.) I feel cheated, duped, crapped on, a fool
6.) Has that Brinker woman had enough botox and surgery. Looks like a fraud, sounded like a fraud and is a fraud

ReplyDeleteI've hated SGK for a while and this has just added to the fire. Did you hear today they decided to reverse their decision due to all the backlash. Now I may be wrong but I remember vaguely they rejected a donation from some pole dancing association calling it "stripper money". As a pole dancer myself and general advocate of women doing whatever the hell they want to do this made me mad as well. I don't support them and never will. You can look up online what % of their money actually goes to breast cancer related things and its not a lot.

That Brinker woman never should have opened her mouth, she made it ten times worse. To late. All their dirty laundry is out and I am not ever going to support any organization that is anti choice.

ANA, OF COURSE. SKG IS the Susan G Komen charity that is HUGE and raises tons of money for breast cancer research and women's health. They give grant money to various other non-profits for breast cancer screenings , care etc. They do the "walk for the cure" and the have the pink ribbons and also started the pink kitchen gadgets, appliances etc with various vendors. They have always given grant money each year to Planned parenthood which is the only place for women to go to for medical care who are indigent and do not have medical insurance. As you may know, in this country you have to have medical insurance before you are age 65 to get medical care or you pay the bills yourself. Three days ago they pulled their funding from planned parenthood because they have truned into a political organization with high ranking anti choice executives and donors which is why they pulled their funding. They also pulled all their funding of millions for stem cell research. EVERYONE is this country knows about SKG and their pink ribbons. Women are FURIOUS with them now. Just gogle for the story. Even Mayor Bloomberg of NY City donated 250k to planned parenthood yesterday! Unbelievably they caved in today to public anger (everyone pulled their donations) and said they will honor their usual grant tp PP. But it is too late. They have shown their true colors. Their explnations are ridiculous and they could care less about woman's health, oh, except for women that have money and are anti-choice. Thanks for the INTEREST!!!
