Even though it is winter and has been cold and raining, I was shocked to see two little lovely pink roses in the garden. And this is a smelly rose. But what I love looking at more is the lovely Herend creamer I bought on a trip to Boston. Did I need a gorgeous creamer? Nope, but I cherish it. I am a china junky. The color, designs and detail just kills me. This is the sort of thing that is usually tucked in a cabinet waiting for a fancy dinner to display its tiny hand painted leaves, gold draped trim and fragile tendrils on the handle.
So all of you worker bees or even those retirees reading their paper at breakfast, or studying students, get out something you love to look at it and put it right next to you for the day.
